HistoryOn New Year's Day in 1988 Bruco was founded.
Since then Bruco has evolved from a small privately held automotive design house solely working for Elmos Semiconductors AG into today's excellence center for design and delivery of Application Specific Integrated Circuits.
During the first decade Bruco housed in a stable on a farm in Hezingen, a little village in the east of the Netherlands, close to the German border. In that period the first four employees joined founder Gerard Brunninkhuis.
Operating from a different location in Weerselo in 1998, Bruco has managed to maintain a steady growth of personnel and turn-over during the second decade.
With the demise of the Ericsson and Agere Systems development sites in 2003 and 2004 in our vicinity, Bruco has been able to further expand their business and expertise. In 2004 again a new location was inevitable in order to house the ever increasing number of personnel. Today with a headcount of roughly 40 people, we are located in Borne.
