CATRENE Thor
Bruco is participating in the Catrene Thor project. The Catrene Thor project is developing highly efficient, integrated and reliable power electronics technologies offering new applications and increasing the competitiveness of major European industries in automotive, aeronautics and healthcare applications.The project covers the development of new technologies for discrete power components (IGBT’s, JFET, Diodes, based on wide band gap semiconductors), power cores, storage elements (supercapaci-tors), packaging for high temperature, thermal and EMC management solutions.
Bruco's objective in THOR is to maintain and extend our exclusive position in the automotive market with our unique design expertise in SOI and high voltage processes for applications in the realm of power management such as smart automotive driver ICs for power MOSFETs, DC-DC converters, and low-drop output regulators.
